Buyer Survey Done on House. Do They Have to Supply Me with a Copy?
Our Zoopla AskMe question this week comes from leewatson.
His query involves a home buyer survey – If your buyer has a survey done on your house, do they have to supply you with a copy? Our buyer says their survey has come up with £25k worth of problems but will not supply a copy of it for us to see for ourselves.

This is a very interesting question. A buyer does not have to supply the seller with their survey report.
In my opinion if the buyer and seller want to be open and honest with one another it’s very important that the buyer then provides the seller with the survey report so they can see what the problems may be with the property, so they may need to renegotiate or get further reports on.
